Text Post Maker

Some posts do not need a photo — a sale announcement, a quote, a holiday greeting, a new-job update. Type your words below, choose the size for the platform you are posting to, style it, and download a clean, ready-to-post image. Everything is drawn on your own device: your text is never uploaded anywhere.

Press Enter for a new line. Long text is wrapped automatically — and shrunk to fit if it needs to be. You can type in Urdu, Arabic, Hindi, Spanish and most other languages: pick the matching font style below and the direction adjusts itself.

A template sets the background, font, text colour and alignment for you. Your words stay exactly as they are.

Or any colour:

Or your own photo:

The shade darkens your photo so the words stay readable. Picking a colour above switches back to a plain background; your photo is never uploaded — it is drawn on your device, like everything else here.

Or any colour:

Auto detects Urdu and Arabic (right-to-left) and English or Hindi (left-to-right) from your first letters. With right-to-left text, “Left” alignment means the side your reading starts from.

How to use the Text Post Maker

  1. Type or paste your text — a headline, a quote, an announcement.
  2. Pick the size that matches where you will post (see the guide below).
  3. Choose a background, text colour and font style, and set the text size and alignment — or tap one of the design templates and let it style everything for you.
  4. Want your own picture behind the words? Add a photo as the background and use the shade slider to keep the text readable.
  5. Press Download PNG or Download JPG and post the image. Need words to go with it? Our Caption Maker has ready captions and hashtags for the same platforms.

Post image sizes, explained

Each platform crops images differently, so the right size stops your words being cut off or shrunk into a letterbox. These are the sizes built into the maker:

SizePixelsBest for
Instagram Square1080 × 1080The classic feed post — safe choice that looks right everywhere.
Instagram Portrait1080 × 1350Taller feed posts that take up more of the scroll.
Facebook Post1200 × 630Shared images and announcement posts in the Facebook feed.
LinkedIn Post1200 × 627Feed images on personal profiles and company pages.
Story1080 × 1920Full-screen Instagram and Facebook stories.
X Post1600 × 900Wide images that fill the X (Twitter) timeline.

A few design habits that make text posts work: keep it short — a text image is a headline, not an article — use strong contrast between text and background (white on purple, dark on cream), and leave the long explanation for the caption. If your text keeps shrinking to fit, that is the tool telling you the message wants fewer words or a taller size.

Write in your own language: Urdu, Arabic, Hindi, Spanish and more are supported — the maker uses the fonts installed on your device, so Urdu looks best on a device with an Urdu font. Choose the “Urdu & Arabic script” or “Hindi (Devanagari)” font style, and the text direction switches automatically; you can also set it yourself with the direction control.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Text Post Maker free?

Yes — free, with no account, no watermark and no download limits. Advertising keeps the site running so the tools can stay free.

Is my text uploaded to a server?

No. Your post image is drawn with your browser’s built-in canvas technology, on your own device. The text you type never leaves your phone or computer, and the download is generated locally too.

Why did my text get smaller than the slider?

That is the auto-fit doing its job: if the wrapped text would overflow the image, the maker reduces the font size until everything fits inside the frame. Shorten the text or pick a taller size if you want it bigger.

Can I use the images for my business?

Yes. The words are yours and the backgrounds are plain colours and gradients generated by the tool, so the finished image is yours to post anywhere — shop page, company page or personal profile.

Can I put my own photo behind the text?

Yes — use the photo picker in the Background controls. Your photo is cropped to fill the chosen size, and the shade slider darkens it so your words stay readable. Like your text, your photo is never uploaded: it is drawn on your own device. Picking a colour background switches back, and the “Use my photo” button brings the photo back.

PNG or JPG — which should I download?

Both are drawn from the same design, so they look identical. PNG keeps text edges perfectly crisp and suits plain-colour designs; JPG makes a smaller file and suits photo backgrounds. If a platform compresses your uploads anyway, either is fine.

Can I write in Urdu, Arabic or Hindi?

Yes — type or paste your text and choose the “Urdu & Arabic script” or “Hindi (Devanagari)” font style. The direction switches automatically for right-to-left scripts, and the maker uses the fonts installed on your device, so Urdu looks best on a device with an Urdu font. Spanish and most other languages work with any font style.
